The most notable photos of 2017
The new year 2017 has come. And it's time for the traditional article "The most remarkable photos of 2016". But, it turned out that there was nothing to choose from, no remarkable photos. In the past year, our main target was our daughter and everything connected with her. And these are photos for a family album. But tradition is tradition. So I had to put it on the photographic barns, scrape them in folders, and put something on.:)
In today's collection, there will be almost no landscape photos, only reportages, not only from people's lives, but also from animals. So the article could well be called "From the life of people and animals.":)
- Fish do not treat?
Cat and Fishermen at the Count's Wharf in Sevastopol
Fish do not treat?
A wooden pier on the Grafskaja pier is a favorite place for Sevastopol fishermen. And local cats know this. Therefore, quite often, they come here for dinner, they eat fresh fish. That evening the red man was lucky. He was alone and ate his fill.
- Balaklava disassembly
Cats in Balalclava
Another story from the life of cats, this time, Balaklava. Here they are not just a lot, but a lot. And this is quite understandable. Fresh sea air, clear sunny weather most days of the year and delicious food. They are fed by everything - and local fishermen, and fish restaurant workers located on the waterfront, and tourists. In our archive there is a photograph on which twelve cats are depicted on two square meters of the Balaklava embankment, and this is not the limit. It's no wonder that the cat's bosses constantly have to prove their right to the territory.
From a technical point of view, this photo can be considered a marriage. The focus was on the cat's hind legs, not on its muzzle. The shooting was conducted from a low angle in the Life View mode (viewing on the screen, and not through the viewfinder, and this is not the strongest side of the Nikon D5000). However, an interesting angle did not allow this frame to be deleted. You can imagine yourself as the third cat watching the showdown.
- The elephant and the pug

Elephant and Pug
The photo was taken in the children's park "Lukomorye". In addition to the attractions, there is a small zoo on the territory of the park, where various birds, rabbits, nutria, goats, donkeys and a large family of Vietnamese pigs live. The oslu and guinea pigs were luckier than the rest, they were allowed to walk around the park in the afternoon, which leads the children into a wild ecstasy. Pig can be ironed, fed, chased through the territory. But some dogs walking in the park are unhappy and try to rock right. But, apparently, the local "hog" is not at all worried.:)
- Three cheerful friends
Three cheerful friends
"A new service in bars of Sevastopol is a hookah for take-out". Such an advertising slogan would be quite suitable for this photo. We were already returning from a walk in Victory Park, when we met this colorful trinity. It's good that the camera was not hidden in the bag, and managed to get this funny picture.
- Chess players (Battle of the minds)
Chess players on Primorsky Boulevard of Sevastopol
Chess players
Retired chess players are, perhaps, already an integral part of Primorsky Boulevard of the city of Sevastopol. If the weather is good outside the window, you will definitely meet with them. Among them there are Karpovs and Kasparovs, Botvinniki and Capablanca. Just look at the tense party. There's no time to smoke.
- At sunset
The Sevastopol sunset
On the Sunset
To slightly dilute the sequence of reportage photographs - the seascape. Warm October evening. Entrance to Sevastopol Bay, excursion boat and a lonely gull above it. And some kind of unreal yellow-pink shade of the sky.
- From the life of pigeons
From the life of pigeons
There are photos that you like, but you can not understand why. So with this shot. Just pigeons on the parapet. But, somehow this picture stands out among others. Maybe an unusual foreshortening, and maybe lines that seem to be tightening into the frame.
- Silhouettes
Silhouettes
The setting sun, barely glimpsing out from behind the pier. Grating arches of the summer cafe. Sea of sepia color. And fishermen. There is some graphics in silhouette photographs. Maybe that's why they attract the eye.
