Charlie Lee Predicts Litecoin will Surpass Bitcoin Cash in 2018

On February 25, Litecoin’s founder Charlie Lee posted a tweet in which he claims that Litecoin (LTC) will overtake Bitcoin Cash (BCH) in terms of market capitalization by the end of 2018.

At the beginning of his tweet, he presented his strong disbelief that “The flippening” (i.e. ETH overtaking BTC) is ever going to happen. The term “The flippening” is often heard in cryptocurrency circles and refers to the event in the possible future, in which Bitcoin would be dethroned by another cryptocurrency (in his tweet, Lee was speaking about Ethereum). However, Lee thinks that what he calls “the flappening”, this is Litecoin surpassing Bitcoin Cash by market capitalization, might be achievable by the end of 2018.
