Litecoin testing $50 as support

At time of writing, litecoin had risen nicely above $50 and pulled back, now testing $50 as support. Will it hold? Dunno, but I hope so. Wondering if these rumors about MIT and litecoin have been the driver upwards last 2 days?

What do you all think?
