is it worth reading a literature?

What is the reading some books of literature? This can give us good sentiment? instructive one? If so, this one seems to be real lesson in the book in question? I think that because reading some texts of literature does not involve the genuine truth, i cannot trust it and even have any moral. My reason is as follows.

Granted, it is possible for reading literature to give us impressive words to somebody. Maybe they evidently help us affluent in our life. But the proposition in the literature seems not to involve truths, for its purpose seems to simply allure readers through its attractive sentences. Thus it is possibly neither evident, nor to aim acquiring genuine knowledege.

The worrisome problem is that such sentence make a chaos the world with possible false expression and even information. For instance, the sentence " God is dead" does not signify any object in reality. What is the god? What is the mean of predicate "is dead"? what is the complete sentence "God is dead"? This already presumes the too big and controversial philosophical problem that "God exists". Thus if someone accepted it, this sentence might have any mean. But it is debatable whether the premise is really true. If it does not really have truth-value, we might do not have any reason to trust it.

Thus, i think for present time that reading lierature is the ability to be possibly questionable. If it really does not involve some sentence that it can have truth-value, it seems to be waste of your valuable time.
