LMMS (früher Linux MultiMedia Studio) ist eine plattformübergreifende Open-Source-Digital-Audio-Workstation, die unter der GPLv2 lizenziert ist. Verwendung findet LMMS als Sound-System, Software-Synthesizer, Beat-/Bassline-Editor und MIDI Control System.

Alle Versionen findet man unter https://lmms.io
Installationsdateien gibt es für Windows Mac und für diverse Linux Versionen
Unter Debian/Ubuntu/Mint (hier im Beispiel) reicht es in der Konsole

sudo apt-get install lmms

einzugeben.
Ist also ganz einfach
