View From The Tube: Snow In London
Snow gets forecast weeks in advance. As per usual, the UK isn't prepared for the paltry amount of snow that falls.
The first 48 hours are great, it's all snowball fights, days off and memes all round. Come day 5, utilities are under pressure, transport across land, sea and air is either scarce or non-existent and most definitely treacherous. This island becomes the laughing-stock of Europe and cousins in North America.
At a time when all the wonder of the snow has worn off and people are cold and worn out, here's what can be seen for a few stops on the Hammersmith and City Line
