Rules of travelling in the London metro system
1. Always stay on the queue once youre more than 2 waiting for the same service till.
2. Never stand on the left hand side of the escalator (mostly on the Tube). Its rude and you might get told off.
3. Never speak to anyone you dont know. Or better still, keep your mouth shut the whole time till you are out of the train/tram/tube or bus.
4. Mind your business.
5. You can always ask for gudiance from security or anyone in uniform. They are always nice nd would help.
6. Do not play loud music. If your headset resonates sound to others, turn the volumne off.
7. Do not eat in the Tube. Mostly when its warm/hot food.
8. Stand behind the yellow line on the platform.
9. Get an oyster card. If you have a contactless debut card, youre still fine..
10. Note that sometimes, the amount of time you use to get from one station to another via the Tube might be much more than actually just walking it. E.g going from Bank to st.Pauls or Leicester Square to Covent garden.
