I WANT TO GET MARRIED TO HER. MUST I SEEK GOD'S CONSENT?

FB_IMG_15209893825047240.jpgDo we need to seek God’s consent to get married to someone we love? Sir, this question I'm asking here right now is very important, because someone told me that we must seek consent from God to have the right woman and it became a debate between me and the person. My question to him was - Did every happily married man and woman on this earth consult God and did they wait for God’s reply before they got married? Is there anywhere in the Bible where God asked us to consult Him about a particular man, or woman we wish to get marry to and wait for his response before we do so? Please Sir, I want to know.

That is the wisest thing to do, especially if you are a Son of God. It is to be led by the Spirit in all you do... BUT IT IS NOT A MUST... God does not force anyone to follow His wisdom...

And moreover, the secret of blissful marriage is unfailing commitment and love. Anybody can marry anybody and succeed ONLY if they are both committed to loving each other...
That is why God helps us to avoid temptations and leads us to the person that it will be easy for both parties to love and commit to each other... since we are still imperfect and we are all growing... Hence, the prayer that says “LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION” but “DELIVER US FROM EVIL”. Too many people’s marriages have become hell because they have been led into temptation, and they fell. Now, they need deliverance from evil.

However, some people who do not know God are enjoying their marriages because they carefully chose their partners. They were not emotionally driven, they were able to use their God-given brains. And they understand and apply the principles of successful marriage, whether consciously or unconsciously.
Therefore, when it comes to marriage, it is not a light matter. When God leads you, also ask Him to prove to your brain why he or she is the right person for you. Wisdom is the principal thing. But WITH ALL THY LEADINGS, GET UNDERSTANDING.
