Can you make a person happy?

Good morning steemians, was just randomly thinking about love and romance when I had one of the biggest revelations of my life which was inspired by Will Smith.
Can you make a person happy? . My answer is no. You can make a person laugh, you can make a person feel good, you can make a person smile, but you can't make a person fundamentally happy. I think it's really wrong and very unfair to put the burden of your happiness on the shoulders of your partner. A person's happiness comes from a place deep inside the heart that nobody should have control over but you. .
Another misconception of love is when two people think that marriage automatically makes them one. That's not true. You are two separate humans on separate journeys. What you are doing is deciding to take on your separate journeys together. Your happiness should not be in the hands of your patner. Go out and do things that make you happy.
