How to always be in love
You fall in love and suddenly the world around changes: you start hearing the birds singing again, you walk with a smile on your face, you smell the scent of flowers in the air, and you are completely inebriated by love and the thought of your partner.
It is a period f extreme optimism, joy, and hope.
A few months pass by and you are finally a couple. Things go amazingly, but a sneaky feeling starts to emerge in you.
That feeling is the subconscious fear of losing your soulmate.
Now, when your subconscious mind focuses on fear-based thoughts, you start reacting to your partner in a fear-based manner.
You start overthinking every single word they say, you start questioning them, putting in doubt every action they do.
What initially sparked your happiness, transforms into fear and into obsession.
Following a video posted by @purna-ananda, I came to the realisation that it is true that the most sincere form of love is between us and a friend. And no, I'm not talking under a sexual perspective. I am talking about spiritual love: the full acceptance of the other with all their strengths and faults; with all the trust and compassion.
It is true love because it gives space for the other to grow, to explore themselves, to pursue their journey.
Aristotle had said something similar about friendship in the Nicomachean Ethics:
I have come to the conclusion that in order to keep passion alive, you must love your soulmate in the same way as you would love your best friend.
If you already are with your lover, it signifies that they also choose to be with you. But ask yourself: in a partnership, who wants to feel bogged down, unhappy, confined, and judged? No one. Not even your partner.
In order to keep them, you ought to give them space to grow and flourish, you ought to trust them, you ought to love them and set them free.
@therealwolf 's created platform smartsteem scammed my post this morning (mothersday) that was supposed to be for an Abused Childrens Charity. Dude literally stole from abused children that don't have mothers ... on mothersday.
