A Journey Through The Heart

in #love7 years ago (edited)

In this fast growing world, I think we all have come across the word "Love" in some form or fashion. To me this word isn't new as well but when I look around I find that the true meaning of love has changed over a period of time. I meet couples and single parents and guess what, I tend to hear a lot on this subject from them. Trust me I have heard all variations by now I suppose....well perhaps may be not.

I have known a person who got married and was divorced thrice. It's not that there is something wrong with this person, but the thing is this person kept marrying everyone except that one person who was needed to build a strong relationship.

I personally feel that before committing to a person one needs to enter into a relationship with self and then put a ring on it. To some it may sound absurd but then it surely works. The places where we have biggest challenges are the places where we have most to give. In today's world it is so easy to tell someone that you love him/her but then it takes quite a bit of understanding and commitment to make it successful.

I still remember a day in my life when my father called me and there was something that we both didn't agree upon. I was very upset and angry and didn't really know what to do. I went up to a pastor and told him about the way I was feeling after talking to my dad. I thought the pastor would ask me to go to church and pray but then he asked me one simple question, "Why did my dad call me?", well, I then thought perhaps he wanted to connect with me and why would he do that, well he loves me. In less than a minute I turned around this aggressive emotion into a realization of connection. What I learnt that day helped me change quite a bit.

Life isn't perfect and there is a saying that there is crack in everything. We are not perfect creatures of God we all have drawbacks but then everything starts from within. If I am happy within myself, the people who come in contact with me will feel this positive energy.

I have this one person in my life who always keeps motivating me, keeps telling me things are going great and I should keep moving on. I would encourage all to have one such person in your life with whom you can share everything without even thinking of being judged. Trust me it will make you feel better.

So, with that I would like to end this brief thought that I wanted to share will all of you. I am sure there are many out there who may want to share their experience/thoughts. Please feel free to leave a comment/upvote below. I wish you all the very best in your life.

Stay Blessed!!
