Professional masturbators wanted - company offers millions for sex toy reviewer

Some Jamaicans have expressed interest in becoming a professional masturbator since learning that a London-based sex toy company is offering a whopping £28,000 or just over J$4.6 million for a full-time position as a sex toy reviewer. The person would basically be getting paid to use sex gadgets on themselves.

"The money enticing because when you look at it, which job inna Jamaica a go pay you so much money? A lot of people want jobs, and based on things wha some girls already a do fi money, that would be a great opportunity," 28-year-old Peta-Gay Thomas, of Portmore, St Catherine, reasoned.

Fashion designer Oshane also told THE WEEKEND STAR that he would be looking into the unique opportunity because of the attractive salary and additional benefits, such as health care, all- expense paid annual retreat, and discounted gym membership.

Jamaicans who are enticed by the position are welcomed to submit their applications before the September 15 deadline, as the company, LoveWoo, told THE WEEKEND STAR that they accept Jamaican applicants.

"The role is open to anyone who has the right to work in the United Kingdom and can commute to our London office for three days of the week. We are not offering visa sponsorships for this role," Ben Murray, one of the directors at LoveWoo explained.

Ideal candidate

Murray said that the brand was launched in February, and has experienced rapid growth since then, propelling them to create the new position.

The successful applicant would have to test a variety of products from LoveWoo, give a detailed review of the products, as well as suggestions for improvement, and become an advocate for the company.

LoveWoo said the ideal candidate must be open-minded, enthusiastic, hard-working, and possess excellent communication skills.

Those interested must act fast as the company said it has already received thousands of applications, though only a small percentage actually qualify for the position.

Despite the multimillion-dollar salary, and attractive benefits, several Jamaicans expressed that no amount of money could get them to become a professional masturbator.

"A bus me drive and me no make that amount of money per year, but me wouldn't leave me job and go do that. Me nah bash nobody who do it, but a no my thing that," Dean Martin reasoned.
