As Christmas comes to an end for the year, we have our final Christmas Lights of the Week for 2017. This week we have chosen an entire street. Tucked away between Bains and Pimpala Road is a street covered in Christmas lights and filled with Christmas cheer. The Simone Crescent Christmas lights are an amazing sight for all to see.

Here are a few of the things we liked most about this display.

The Participation
The fact that the whole street is willing to get involved is quite spectacular. Along the entire street houses have been completely covered in lights to put on a great display. Having such a large amount of lights in the one location certainly makes this one worth the trip when you're on a Christmas light hunt.

Not only does the whole street come together to set up their displays, but they also use it as an opportunity to raise money for the Flinders Foundation for Cancer Research.

On certain nights, even Santa would make an appearance.

The Location
This brilliant display is located only 30 minutes drive south of the city. It is relatively easy to find, and there are a lot of other Christmas lights in the area, making it a perfect spot to spend the evening. There is plenty of street parking and the walk along the street is fairly easy.

A few other lights to check out while you're in the area would be on Emmerson Drive or Rothschild Street in Woodcroft.

The Variety
There are a wide variety of displays along Simone Crescent. Some have focused more on using a lot of dazzling lights, whereas some have used less lights but put the focus on creating different light shapes and features. It's safe to say we haven't seen any other Christmas emus on our Christmas light adventures.

Having a whole street of different displays means there should be something there that everyone will love. They even won the Mayor's Christmas Light Competition for Best Street Christmas Display.
