Love 101: I feel so much pressure to married.
The grandmother that says don't give up the milk or they won't buy the cow.
When I first heard this saying, I thought well it's a good thing women aren't cows.
The pressure placed on young couples to be married and have kids seems to grow more and more each day.
I believe we should do everything in our own time. Relationships, strong passionate, loving ones, take time to develop. With the divorce rate so high, it is so important to take your time with your love. Don't do anything because someone else, family, friends or strangers, wants to push their insecurities on you. I can assure you that if it doesn't work out, they probably won't pay for your divorce.
Love freely, live together, live apart, travel, spend time alone; do whatever you have to do for you. The only thing worse that someone being forced to take steps they aren't ready for, is in the end when breakups, divorces, spite and bitterness emerge from people who moved too fast too soon.
Build your foundation. Communicate about your desires, don't let anyone else rush you and always live your life. Your relationships will be much stronger because of it.
I couldn't agree more. Don't give into the pressure :)
Thank you Elsie!
