RE: Do you learn through Imitation or through being Original?
Thanks for your reply @aakom !
I do feel there is also a place for the mainstream kind of learning. It is definitely a first step and better than nothing. However, it has become such an ideal that many people are unable to find their true expression, to connect to their heart. Because this kind of education is so focused on imitation many become afraid of themself and others.
I feel that many young children these days have extraordinary innate knowledge. The school system can be so boring for them that they take refuge in distractions such as drugs and alcohol.
Yes, and the distractions are even promoted! Phones, gadgets, mindless media, fidget spinners (the apotheosis of pointless distractions) etc etc. I think it no accident that destructive drugs (including most so-called medicines) are easier to find than, say, psychedelics. Not that I would give them to a kid, but the culture that bans them is the same culture that bans the legitimacy of natural altered states. Long topic - highly condensed! :-)
Thanks - I get you :-)
