This aircraft is also called superjumbo due to its large size. These aircraft can carry 500 passengers in luxury and comfortable air travel in three different categories. Its passenger capacity is more than 100, compared to other major luxury aircraft. If this aircraft is made only economy class, then it can travel up to 850 passengers. However, these aircraft are for luxury and comfortable travel, so there are beds in its deck and first class suite.

Because of the large size of the A380 plane it has large windows, a high ceiling and an engine that does not sound at all. Quantus, Emirates, and Singapore Airlines also suffered significant loss due to emergency landing. In January 2012, Quantus and Singapore Airlines complained of aircraft debris. The investigation revealed that the reason for the crack in the wings is technical flaws. The material used in the manufacture and quality was not very good. In such a situation, the company had to spend 263 million euros (about Rs 2054 crore) in correcting the cracks which were very high.

After the flaws were exposed in this huge passenger plane, its deals were canceled. In January-February 2019, Emirates's two largest buyers, Emirates and Australian Airline Quantus, canceled the order of the A380 aircraft. Emirates canceled the deal and took the deal to buy smaller aircraft instead, while Quantus canceled the deal of the A380 only. Similarly, other companies also felt disillusioned with the A380. After this, Airbus has announced that it will stop production in 2021.
