Hello friends, today I am going to review my recent macro lens purchase (this is not sponsored). I brought this lens from some savings that got and you can expect a 100 % honest review from this blog. You can also find the sample images that I had took from this lens using my smartphone (Redmi K20 Pro).
What's inside the box
Inside the box, you will find the lens inside a plastic case which is a little hard to open but keeps the lens safe inside a sponge mold for holding the lens from moving around. underneath the sponge, we can also find a fiber cloth.
the lens is detachable from the clip so that you can extend the clip if it's not and also the 12x and 24x is also detachable.
Dimensions of the clip
So, it can be used in smartphones camera sensors which are located 2-3.5 cm from the top of your phone. if your phones main sensor is located further down you need to buy an extender clip for the lens
Magnifications 12X and 24X
There are two 12X lenses and the combination of both gives us the 24X lens. The 24x lens has a Diffuser

So, there are two magnifications available for this lens. The 12X is my favourite magnification as it can focus objects a little further from the lens (1-3cm)as a result you can keep some distance while taking photos without scaring away the macro living things.
The 24X macro is good for taking macro shots of flowers and things that are not visible to the human eye. The 24x lens brings microscopic details with a con of focusing distance under 1cm which is super close and the Diffuserkeeps on hitting the subject all the time, as we try to focus on our object. So this lens is not ideal to use for macro living things shots unless if it's super small
24X issues I faced
The 24X has vignetting and due to this problem, we always need to take photos on 2X zoom which will reduce some of the image quality as we are taking these photos from a mobile with digital zoom.
The second problem that I faced while using the 24X was that it has a short focusing distance as a result we need to keep the diffuser almost in touch with the subject to take a photo, So this lens is not ideal for taking living macro insects as they will run away as we get that close.
The third problem I faced was that the image quality from the 24X was very low.
12X my favorite
12X is my favourite lens as it has no vignetting and has full sensor coverage. The 2X zoom is not needed for the 12X. Here are some of the photos I took from the 12X lens

Conclusion
I can surely say that this lens is one of the best macro lenses available in the market right now which is affordable as its price is 999 INR. It has 2 magnifications which are ideal for different looks if you want that 12x is super clear and 24x which is super close to the subject.
