My entry for the 7 DAYS STEEMIT MACRO-PHOTOGRAPHY CHALLENGE by @flamingirl

Thanks to @flamingirl for starting this challenge. There have been some epic Images submited and I'm very happy to see that steemit is acumulating a wealth of talented photographers!

Im a bit late of the mark so unfortunatly this is my only entry into the competition.

I shot this stunning little jumping spider on Bali in Indonesia while hunting in the grounds of our hotel for macro subjects. Macro photography is one of those magical pursuits that opens your eyes to a part of the natural world which often goes unnoticed. When you have a good macro lense and you start looking for images to capture it is truly amazing what you can find. There is a whole new world that is hidden from most people and all that you need to do to discover it is to look carefully. The world of the small is filled with amazing creature, stunning beauty and fabulous drama. It a great pleasure to go into this world with my camera and capture a small part of it to take home with me! :D

I captured this image with an Olympus OM-D EM-1 with an M.Zuiko 60mm macro lens, flash and improvised flash diffuser.
