RE: 52 Enhancing Macro Photos

MAN! It looks like I'll have to rent a macro lens for a weekend to participate in this category.

Right now it's winter time in Massachusetts and there aren't many insects to photograph.

Unless I go to NYC and shoot some cockroaches - but that would be gross!

Just a thought though.....

Haha, renting a lens to compete, that is true passion!

Plus it'll give me something else to shoot. The good thing is there are a bunch of rental houses in the Boston area. Plus there are weekend rates - pick up on a Friday afternoon - return Monday morning.

And if anyone reading this is wondering about prices. Most lenses are $35 a day while something like a 70-200mm 2.8 is around $40. Here is a link for those interested or had no idea renting lenses is an option: https://www.bostonphotorental.com/boston-lens-rental/canon-lens-rentals/

Plus I'll have something interesting to help promote your Photo Contests in a few weeks! I'm still working out on the details. I'd tell you now but I want to be the first to do it.

;D

snowflake macro are really beautiful :) you should give it try. its forever summer for me in Singapore.

Very true indeed! But I assume it has to be fresh snowflakes not frozen stuck together. Thanks for the idea!

Plus forever summer sounds great to me!
