Macrophotography ~ About needle dragonfly

God created various living creatures on this earth from the largest to the smallest animals. God created various kinds of animals and the kind was like this little star that lived on the grass. Many types of stars that lived grazed one of them I found this star.

Needle dragonflies are insects belonging to the order Odonata, suborder of Zygoptera. The types of dragonflies are usually divided into two major groups, namely dragonflies or sibar-sibar and needle dragonflies. Needle dragonflies have unique characteristics that make it easily distinguishable from other types of dragonflies, namely a slender body shape such as needles and posture upright at rest. Needle dragonflies are often found around ponds, swamps, forests, and rice fields.

The needle dragonfly has a long, thin body like a needle. The needle dragonfly's wings are always in an upright position together on their backs while resting or perching on a plant branch.

The life cycle of the needle dragonfly begins with the egg. Generally after 2 days, the eggs will hatch and the larvae will leave their shells. Then the larvae will grow into nymphs and eventually become adult needle dragonflies. Adult needle dragonflies have a yellowish green and black body color.

I took this picture or photo in the northern Aceh area, Meurah Mulia sub-district, in the village (Rayeuk Paya Itek) in the paddy field of the irrigation pasee road. I took this photo using the Xiaomi Mi A1 handphone camera.
