Step 1: Find & Research an Idea/Niche

a. The first step to venture in to Teespring  is brainstorm something people will be motivated and feel proud when  they wear on it. A Manchester United’s fans will be very happen to wear a  T-Shirt to show he is a royal fans of MU. 

A Doctor will be happy to  wear T-Shirt with words “I am Doctor. Ask me if you need Help”. You can  Google to find some ideas. Key in:  “[People|Club|Occupation|Game|Industry] sayings”, or  “[People|Club|Occupation|Game|Industry] sayings quotes”, or  “[People|Club|Occupation|Game|Industry] sayings shirts”b. Once  you have an idea, go Facebook Audience insight or Google Keyword Planner  to check how many potential customers you are able to reach. There is  no point if the potential customers is 1k-2k. Try to find a T-Shirt with  potential of at least 50K customers.c. Go Teespring  .com and search for your idea’s keywords. Most likely you will see some  similar T-Shirt. Learn what type of T-Shirt design in your niche sold a  lot and what not. Learn from others mistake will save you lot of money.Tips:
1. You may contact Facebook Page/Group Owner who have large followers.  You can offer them Free T-Shirt design and ask him post on his  page/group. Both of you can do 50/50 profit sharing. This work for any  online and offline communities that have large number of members.

 Step 2: Design T-Shirt

a. If you are good in design,  then design the T-Shirt yourself. But if you are not in design, don’t  waste your time on this. Design is one of the important factor on  selling T-Shirt. A newbie can spend a week and come out with a terrible  design. The solution is outsource the work to designers on Fiverr or any freelance designers.

Step 3: Advertise T-Shirt

1. If you are using paid traffic, never be too broad with your  targeting, always be very specific. There are usually only a very  specific type of people that would buy your shirt, and the skill really  is targeting them only. That’s how you make your money.

2. If you are targeting other Facebook Fan Page (Not Own by You), you  can key in the page name in “Interest” and if the page name show then  you can display your Ads on other FB Fan Page.

3. Do a video ad, the cost per view will after about 24 hours go down to  0.001 cent per view, if you have decent targeting. When you create  video ads FB saves every viewer so you can actually create a custom  audience that you can retarget, you can then use these custom audiences  to create look a like audiences. FB will show you who viewed what  percentage of the vid so you can select those people who watched all or  most of it, they are likely to buy. You can create your vid in FB very  easily. Video ads are a great way to build big custom audiences very  quickly.
