SLC S21W1 | Cleaning, face types and implements necessary to perform good makeup.
Hello teacher
Based on what was established in the previous module, analyze what type of skin you have, how you should care for it, and what type of products you should use for that type of skin |
---|
I have always known I have an oily skin but the lessons given made it clearer to me that I have oily skin. My skin always shines and produces oil especially on my nose region.
How I care for my skin is making sure I use product that help control the excess oil produced on my skin, I also use product that are oil free like cream, powder and face cleanser especially on my face, secondly I make sure to clean my face anytime I notice am sweating.
Another way I take care of my skin is to ensure that I clean up any makeup I have in my face before going to bed. This is to say I don't sleep with makeup on my face.
Show us a personal photo, in which you must explain the shape of your face and also tell us how you should contour and highlight according to your specific shape. (This answer must be purely explanatory) |
---|
The shape of my face is round as you can see from my picture. But sometimes it seems as if it is oval I don't know if its dependent on the hair style I wear at that time. . Hahah so funny.
I am not much of a makeup person, I mean I don't do much of makeup. I only make up once in a while for an occasion. Because of my oily face, I prefer to be without much may, just white powder is good to go for me.
But the few times I have made up, I noticed the make up artist who made me up focused on my forehead and chin to contour it. I think now I understand the reason she does that is because of the shape of my face. Few times she highlighted my nose.
According to the implements needed to achieve good makeup, which ones did you know before and which ones do you use frequently; did you use them correctly? Which ones do you think are really essential when applying makeup? Explain your answer |
---|
The implements needed to achieve a good make up I knew before now are brush and sponge but I didn't know the different names of those brush but with this class it has been made clear.
Now I know that what I have are the concealer brush, the blending brush and the eyelash brush. The brush I use frequently is the blending brush. I use it more because it helps me blend my powder well just incase I decide to put a little make up. I don't often use the concealer so I don't have frequent us for it.
I don't have many makeup implements because am not really into it like I said before. Bit I have some basic implement like brush and sponge. The brushes have their unique functions for example the eyelash brush is used for the eyelashes making sure our lashes are firm and all uniform.
As explained in the previous module, if you need to apply concealer (a liquid or cream product) to correct an imperfection, which of the implements do you think you could use for its application and which one for its blending. Explain your answer |
---|
If I need to apply a concealer, to correct an imperfection, the implement I use for its application will be the concealer brush. My reason for using the concealer brush is because it is the brush used when applying a concealer. The concealer brush helps covers the imperfection much better. And for blending it I will use the sponge because it gives a uniform look on the face when used.
Every implement for make up used correctly add up to the perfection we get when finished. I love make up but I love it more when it is moderate.
I would like to invite my friends to join this contest. @ninapenda @hisgeneral @sahmie

Hello @almacaridad
Thank you for verifying my post but I have this to say.
I wonder why you graded me so low and you didn't even tell me my mistakes so that I can make adjustments next time. All images used in this post are mine and was taken with my phone except my cover image which was sourced. So I wonder why you should say I should use my own images.
