Learn how to make your own app - anyone want a simple guide?

Do you want to make your own app that runs on Steem?

Imagine a world where everyone could do this and it didn't take much effort at all.

Over the next few months I will continue my project to support the mallsballers and build a webapp frontend for our very special @frogcake community project.

Ok, it's not a app running on Steem - but it is doing things based on what is happening on the blockchain which is a decent start :).

As I have very limited artistic talent, limited technical capability and nothing to go on but a strong imagination it seems a pretty daunting task.

Still, with determination and many 100's of hours learning to program & the experience I gained hosting bot driven competitions, I think it's possible to build something interesting.

I feel like I have just enough skills and confidence to give it a try and have at least...some level of success.

Ok - for those who caught the early test/preview I released  it's not exactly revolutionizing the world, but yeah it's a bit of fun - give it a few more months and it will get there.

Anyways... after all the blood, sweat and tears, I was thinking I could build a simple guide - spare others the pain and post the secrets of success here for all Steemians.

Would this be of benefit and value to people? - like I could do a series of posts on how to do it, taking all Steemians on the journey and answering any questions per post so people don't get left behind type thing.

I understand it's probably been done before and there are allot of tutorials out there by qualified people, but its at least a way of me sharing some of what I am doing to try and help Steem.

What's a little unique about my style is I only use freeware/easy to learn tools and not being a qualified programmer I could probably put it into a language that most people would get.

Combine this with my passion for automation, I could probably crank out a really helpful little guide..a kind of build steem based apps, app builder..

Still, I only want to do things that add value to Steem and I'm already involved with so many things...gosh! will it just be more work and not adding much value?

Finding the time to post, is a luxury these days; I do a lot of behind the scenes stuff...but never really share or post as much as I would like (curse of an over worked introvert - you don't really want attention - but with Steemit, you need to post something or the upvote is not there sadly).

In the typical Steemit fashion I'll let the upvote speak for the community - If this post gets a high number of upvotes I'll take it as a sign the community thinks this would be a good idea..else I'll let this one rest and do another high quality travel post when I can (These take me many hours to post as I'm very slow with computers these days).... Gosh I already have allot on the plate, but as I'm building this anyways, it's probably not hard to share as I go along - so conflicted, please help me decide by way of upvote :)

All the best and happy Steeming!
