Hard work.

I was taking too long to rake all the leaves, so my wife brought home a Venezuelan refugee. He's just been bussed to Denver with his sister.

He raked these leaves and weeded my garden beds in about five hours before going over to help our neighbors.

In my 43 years of life, I've never worked that hard.

Physical labor is of course not the only virtue. I've made more money in a day for my employer than he will ever make in a year.

But someone needs to work hard, and Latinos sure know how.
