A story posted on Facebook went viral when the page of a news outlet in Zamboanga shared the valiant story of one Private First Class Dhan Ryan Bayot, who did the unexpected. The story took a turn for the worse when PFC Bayot’s team was surrounded by enemy forces during an ambush. With all of his comrades dead, he was the one left standing with nothing but his weapon, his radio, and his wits. Instead of asking for help for himself, he chose to call to his radio and pinpoint his location to the command post, and asking the Air force to drop the bomb on his location that has been surrounded by the Maute Isis group..
