This strain is beyond photogenic! These trichome encrusted purple nugs look and smell amazing. As I mentioned in yesterday's review, I'm a big fan of Larry OG. Purple Punch is a cross between Larry OG x Granddaddy Purple. Gdp's berry smell and flavor dominate this hybrid. I was actually surprised by the fact that any of the usual traces of Larry weren't there.
My biggest complaint about this beautiful strain, is the lack of PUNCH! With the lineage behind this one, I was expecting a bit more potency. While that's not the only thing I search out with strains. I feel that top shelf flower like this, should be leaps and bounds ahead of lower shelf offerings.
Overall, I was glad I gave this one a try. There are other strains of Larry OG that will show you what that strain truly has to offer.

It had a name but its slipped my mind. Its a scrappy puff for sure
Purple strains usually have lower thc levels but higher cbn levels. Most likely since you want purple strains to go longer and pick when trichomes have turned from milky white to amber.
Actually this one came in at around 22% I believe with very little CBD/N levels. Although there are many factors that could've played into this as well. Then you have a strain like Star Killer, another purp strain, that comes out swinging. Overall, I've heard this one lacks the potency people want. Funny you mention trichome color, I'm getting ready to do a post about it.
