Purple Dragon Marijuana Review

Facts: Purple Dragon is a cross between Purple Urkle and Blue Dragon. It is a hybrid but it leans heavily to the indica side.

Smell: The smell gives you a round house kick at first. It was the first jar of weed I checked out, and I could tell it was a high contender. The name “Purple Dragon,” really gives it justice. In that it smells fire. It smells zesty and tropical at the same time. I give it a 8/10

Why not the full 10? It just isn't loud. If you are unfamiliar with the term “loud,” it just means when you first pop open your jar of weed (or unzip it) everyone around your vicinity knows exactly where the that dank smell is coming from. As if it were calling to them. (if you are unfamiliar with the work dank I don't know how you found this page.)

Nug Feel: Purple Dragon nug is fluffy. It feels great against finger tips, and it leaves them sticky. It is also as squishy as it is fluffy. I'm not a huge fan of soft nugs, however it had a tough core. However when I broke up the nug I had to use a grinder. The stickiness and fluffiness was just to hard for my no nail fingers. 7/10

Look: the bud is absolutely beautiful. It is everything I want in a nug. It was the fine hairs of a OG and Frosty tips of the white widow. Also the purple bits scattered around the nugs. 10/10

Taste: I really expected a fruity tropical taste from this weed. I smoked it out my bong and a joint hoping for different outcomes. However I just couldn't get any of that flavor I smelled in the marijuana flower. It was really disappointing. 6/10

High: At first the high from the purple dragon is a calm one. It did not hit me right away but when it did I notice a large difference in my energy. I would like to try this with one of my pre work outs. I also recommend lifting on it.Which is Surprising because it leans more towards the indica side. 7/10

Final thoughts: The sativa half of this strain really sets the tone. I would only know it had some indica in it by looking at the nug. Not even the high gives off a indica feeling. Purple Dragon is the perfect name for this strain. I love the tropical smell and would highly recommend it as a pre-work out.
