Vermont could be the next state to legalize.

Vermont is looking more and more like it will be the next state to legalise marijuana for recreational use. If the law comes into effect it would allow access to weed for anyone over the age of 21. Vermont already allows medical dispensaries and this is seen as the logical next step. As more and more states are legalising for recreational can the more conservative states stance really be justified any longer? Let us know in the comments below!

United Kingdoms Liberal Democrats have legal weed in Manifesto

The United Kingdom's Liberal Democrat party has included in their General Election manifesto a pledge to legalise Cannabis for medicinal and recreational use. This would allow a dispensary style set up and an end to ridiculous drug laws within the UK. The Liberal Democrats are a fringe party and have no chance of forming their own government at this election, however the inclusion of such a promise brings a shift in thinking of mainstream parties in the UK. Before this no-one has dared touch the issue, even shying away from questions of whether they have ever used it. Something even Obama happily admitted. Hopefully this is the beginning of a paradigm shift in Britain and will allow the change of the very archaic drug laws.
