The government(s) have been breaking down for a while but they're still doing a good job of keeping the major economic indicators in check. Gold and silver were down most of the day today, the dollar was up and the bond didn't sell off. When the market sells off, the precious metals go up, the bonds and the dollar all sell off then things are starting to move.
