Market Friday goes Crab on the street
I am taking it a bit different from the ordinary today.. But it still wont change the fact that today is beautiful. And it is #marketfriday initiated by @dswigle(Denise).
Here is my entry for today's market.. It involves myself and these two kids l met heading back home from work.. You know the weekend comes with its own feelings and excitement. And tgis is exactly how we begin it with @dswigle.
They have with them this..do l call it a set or bunch of crab selling. It caught my attention and l simply had to stop by and take a close look.. Looking so happy with them and negotiating.
It doesnt seem expensive though..My old woman might love to prepare a pure African soup over the weekend and so why the hesitation. You may passby if thats only possible.lol
This actually is a street market but not as with the real market as always. Many thanks for your time today too..Lets just see what others are sharing with us today at the various markets around the globe. Hope to see you join this since the day isnt over yet but till then have a blissful weekend.
I missed out on this weekends market friday too because of the presentation at Accra Tech. But hey @mcsamm, you nailed it, wow...
Crabs are cool and tasty, I guess I'm not scared of them because I always see them only when they are dead and ready to be chewed and swallowed into my tummy.

hahah and yes @mcsamm I HAD to resteem because of the CRAB and the CRAB bucket theory as Explained in the Steem White paper and how the Crab Bucket is how poeople stay poor, they drag other crabs back into the ucket to prevent thers from escaping the hole of poverty
Steem is the anti crab bucket and this is just gret symbolism
I with we could get smartphones to every market stal owner, so every vender can make extra money posting their goods on an online database to register al the goods at the market to he;p customers shop online and reserve stuff before they arrive etc etc BUT MOSTLY its just so the veners can make money off pictures of their goods ontop of themoney they make selling them
they wil end up makinG WAY more money from the steemposts than what little they make actually selling them
steem is so disruptive it akes the old economy look so broken!
Everyone MUST have internet for cheap and a smartphone tho and you CAN use steem rewards to fund projects to get them, you can also shre them at liarries and stem internet cafes I know you are building soon!!!
Internet access in Ghana is really expensive but i know there are other means of getting reliable and uninterrupted connection all day. I am currently using a similar system which i share with some of the active members of @steemit-uenr. I heard of Google fiber recently and its something i believe can get us what we need. With download speed up to 1GB/s , i think 100 people can use it at a time and have no problem. Just the current steem/sbd prices, things are a little bit out of schedule as we planned earlier on but we will make it work somehow.
And hey, you are totally right, @thejohalfiles need to be recognised by the entire community for what he has done for us. Not just he alone. You, @surfyogi ,@bleepcoin ,@hr1 ,@tytran and all who have been there should be recognised as well.
