Market Friday Hot Sauce
My contribution to #marketfriday initiated by @dswigle
For Market Friday I would like to take you inside the Red Clay General Store, specializing and making their own Hot Sauces.
The store opened in the nearby Town of Montague and I went inside to check out the contents.
A sampling station ~ if you dare try the different hot sauces!
In another corner of the Hot Sauce Store is a collection of clothing and sea glass jewelry the shop owner’s wife had made.
An interesting arrangement with driftwood, the Island red stone and decorated with candles, sand and oysters for shucking.
Shucking Oyster Knives and Shucking Hot Sauce.
Why do I want to say, “How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?”
Ok, lets get serious. 😃.
So many to choose from...the mildest one for me!
If you like to try different hot sauces this is a great place to sample them and maybe buy a bottle for $9.95.

I'm with you on this one @redheadpei..gotta go with mild!! Looks like they have some pretty cool stuff there in addition to the sauces!
Thanks Dee. It is quite the interesting general store. The owner and his wife have worked hard to make it successful.
You're very welcome and looks like they are doing a great job!
I don't tend to like anything hot these days either. Even mild chili made my stomach upset the other night, dang it. lol
Chili has the same effect on me. My stomach can tolerate mild curry easier. Men must have stronger stomachs as Wayne can eat the hotter dishes with no problem.
This looks like a neat place! It'd be mild for me too...LOL! Is Red Clay General near water?? I'd love me some oysters. Thanks!
Thanks for stopping by @artemisnorth. Yes, The back of the store faces the Montague River which has salt water from Atlantic Ocean. Lobsters, oysters, etc. are fished there.

This was so hot! ;)
Thank you so much and I will just leave you with a slightly bigger tip because it won't let me vote on it!
