Brazi Vs Nigeria. (Review)

This week's international friendly fixture game between the Samba boys of Brazil and the Super eagles of Nigeria was played at Singapore. Despite the extremely hot climatic condition, both countries were able to show what they are made of.

            **Game Highlights**

The game started at exactly 1pm Nigerian time. The first minutes of the game saw the Brazilians holding possession of the game and planning on how to carve open the strong defensive line of the Super Eagles.

In the early hours of the game, Neymar was substituted due to an injury he sustained and was quickly replaced in tactical substitution by Coutinho.

As both teams continued to pressure each other without respect for past meetings, the Super eagles of Nigeria through the right wing played a fine counter attacking football that gave them the opening goal of the first half encounter at the 35th' minute, Joe Aribo the CM for Nigeria slotted in a fine one after beating the Brazilian defense stylishly.

At intervals they were taking breaks due to the weather condition was extremely hot.

The first half of the game ended in favour of the super eagles.

The second half of the game saw the Samba boys of Brazil dominating and were desperate to score a goal. A beautiful curled corner kick, with a header blocked by the cross bar and lucky Casemiro was close by to slot in the loose ball at the 48th minute of the game. It brought the game to a draw.

Countinho had another chance to score but his effort was fruitless as a defender was quick to stop the ball from entering the net.

Another corner kick from Brazil would have been converted to a goal but it hit the cross bar and the Nigeria defender was quick to clear into safety.

Goalkeeper Uzoho who has been active during the period he played had about three beautiful saves, signaled for injury after twisting his kneels and ankle while contesting the corner kick with a Brazilian.

After 90 minutes of beautiful football display by both respected countries it ended in a 1-1 draw at Singapore.
