Mothers Are Precious.

The love every mother have for her child/children is the kind of love Jesus preached about. Unconditional love, everlasting love, love that cannot be broken except death divides the child from her mother.

It's often difficult to find where a mothers lay curse on her child no matter what, be it that the child misbehaves such that it brings shame and disgrace to the family, she will never deny that child.

Often times we see fathers easily denouncing their children in private and in public places. Without considering the psychological effects it had on the child. I'm not trying to say women don't do this, i know some women do but it's a smaller percentage of the women than men.

A mother is overly disturbed when her child falls ill, not progressive, just name it. A mother will take it upon herself to make sure that she prays for her children where ever they are. Often times i have see mothers go out of their way to make sure she provides for the child/children.

I remember a day i came back hungry and mum was eating, immediately she sacrificed her food for me to be satisfied. I innocently ate the food without thinking if she had even eaten to her satisfaction. So we were both discussing and she made me to understand that the food she sacrificed was the last food at home and she hadn't eaten since morning but she couldn't stand to see me go hungry.

Deep down, i cried heavily in my heart learning about what sacrifice she has done for me. There are a lot of unseen, unknown and unheard sacrifices our mothers have been engaged in just to see that we all excel and be responsible people in the society.

This is one of the reasons women are important in nation building, because they are character molders, character craftsman. They know that everyone should be treated equally.
