"When are we buying your aso-ebi?"
"When are we meeting your husband/wife?"
"When are we coming to eat rice?"
"Why are you still in your father's eyes?"

Those statements above can cripple you if you don't have a stable emotional strength.

Dont be under pressure to impress people with your marriage plans.

It is not easy to deal with society and family's pressure for marriage but you need to understand that it is simply a trap that can lead you into worry, anxiety and mistakes. They are just reciting questions they have been conditioned to ask at certain time.

If you ask people who are married what happens in marriage, you will know that it is not right to just marry someone you cannot communicate with, make decisions with, be intimate with, require support from and so much more.

Marriage can be enduring or enjoyable depending on how you get into it and build it.

Back to the topic, if you easily fall into depression, it might also lead you into settling for less.

No body will be in your marriage with you so understand that it is human nature to put pressure but it's your duty to respond with a peaceful mind and actions.

People will always talk. It's their mouth. Rather than sitting down and feeling like a victim, figure out how to maintain a sane mind.

  1. Focus on growing daily so you can be more attractive and valuable.

  2. Go out more and meet new people. Your environment might be limiting you.

  3. Be more open to people and stop judging people based on the physical features that can be worked on.

  4. Let God lead you through the process. Do not allow just emotions lead you all through.

  5. Change the meaning you attach to those negative voices you hear. See it as they simply care about your progress and they are talking from their own model of the world and understanding.

  6. Rehearse a great response you can always give them and escape from their surrounding.

  7. Invest in training and coaching programs that can help you build self awareness and shorten your positioning process
