I'm still wondering what compliance people were most pissed off about?
Having to close down their businesses I understand. But that wasn't an issue for most people. Wearing a mask and standing 6 ft apart with such a non-issue for me.
The closure of the outdoor venues was a mistake and I protested it at the time. But the closure of indoor venues was not really something that you complied with unless you own the business.
At least in the United States there was no one that was actually locked down. You weren't forced to stay in your house. You weren't prevented from visiting friends and relatives. You were forbidden from hosting large public gatherings but I know of no cases that that was enforced. If you had a 20-person family gathering at your Thanksgiving dinner they didn't call the police, in fact we had some of those in my neighborhood. So what is it that she's objecting to? Getting the vaccine maybe?
