Social media platforms reacted to the visit of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to a McDonald's restaurant in the swing state of Pennsylvania two weeks before the start of the decisive elections.

The photos showed Donald Trump wearing a restaurant apron and helping workers fry potatoes and deliver customers their orders.

Trump's visit to a McDonald's restaurant appeared to be "an election spite and a veiled mockery" of his Democratic presidential rival Kamala Harris.

Harris had mentioned that she worked at a McDonald's restaurant during her college life, but Trump says he does not believe her, adding, "I worked at McDonald's for 15 minutes longer than Kamala, she never worked here."

Harris's spokesman Joseph Costello commented on Trump's videos by saying that the Republican candidate "is nothing but a pocket of billionaires when it comes to policies that matter to workers
