Is McDonnell right to say Grenfell victims were "murdered" by political decisions?
John McDonnell said at Glastonbury, on a microphone in front of an audience of thousands, that the government murdered those that tragically died in Grenfell.
I think this is a shameful abuse of the Grenfell tragedy. John McDonnell is trying to get to power by inciting against the govt. These are the words of a Marxist craving an uprising, and using his platform to stoke hatred against anyone who's not far-left (I would say against anyone who is right wing, but you've seen the way Momentum et al attack even supporters of Blair). McDonnell is not trying to be an effective opposition member in a democracy.
Does anyone think this language is appropriate?
