Day after day, hour by hour, you see a mainstream 'journalist' of every background making definitive statements about subjects and situations they know absolutely nothing about B'cos they have never crossed the perceptual Rubicon to breach the illusions of the box or bubble they have allowed to define them.

This myopic perceptive then blocks all motivation to research possibility beyond the mantra-norms B'cos why would you research something that your software mind tells you cannot be? Why in this perceptual alcatraz would you take seriously or show respect to those who do seek out the truth in realms of possibility that you cannot imagine?

Therefore: "I cannot conceive that what they are saying is true, so it can't be true, & they must be weirdos & crazies" - Mombiot's 'morons' & cockburn's Conspiracy Nuts'. The mentality of I am right & so anyone saying something different must by definition be wrong is a human disease now reaching epidemic proportions across global society. Such self-inflicted perceptual ignorance among the media masses of all shades in this unquestioning 'I am right' society creates a dependency on official pronouncements which they can only repeat & call it 'news' & 'journalism'. They have no idea what is really going on & so have no questions that would reveal & uncover the LIES & DECEIT.
