The problem is that those sociopaths do (still) control the strongest microphones and are able to impose very material consequences on those who they deem most important of those who expose them, while suffering no consequences themselves. But it is true, and one of the most important messages of all, that for all their seeming power and the bells and whistles around them, their authority fundamentally has no other foundation than their voice of authority, and there's no reason why their narrative is the one prevailing. As the article says, "we can use the confident voice of authority to override the voice of the establishment propaganda machine." Sociopaths depend on their audience being content in the darkness of a passive seat in the auditorium. Yet all have power to reveal the emperor's nakedness, which is glaring up on stage. No user of the tool of the the confident voice of authority is better than anyone else.
