A Medical Stride
Over time, humanity has established that there are many diseases and disorders that roam our world. In order to deal with these diseases, society have created medicines. Medications vary from the common aspirin to cancer treatments. They are a stride ahead of previous medical practices that were not science driven but there’s still much to be realised in the way of medicine.
Humans are always in good health. Indeed, even the elderly live long lives without any ailments or diseases to speak of at times. But it doesn’t mean that one does not suffer from degradation or issues, it’s just the body repairs itself at a sustainable pace.
There is one ailment that humans cannot naturally heal. This is the problem of age. As the human body grows older, many systems begin to fail as they are not designed for continuous use over long periods of time. This is why news of age reversal is quite a topic of interest to many. It is a breakthrough against the inevitable.
This is where I ponder the future of medical focus and perhaps our approach today will become primitive and perhaps basic and incorrect many years down the line. Perhaps, the key to defeating disease lies within ourselves and enhancing these inherent healing capabilities will go far beyond any bio engineered medicine that is administered.
