Indian snakeroot
is a species of flower in the family Apocynaceae. It is native to the Indian subcontinent & East Asia. English names include devil pepper & snakeroot.
It is one of the 50 fundamental herbs used in traditional Chinese medicine. Root is used for medicinal treatment of high blood pressure, disorders of central nervous system. And it also used for antidote of snakebite. The essence of this plant is used for treatment of cholera.
