Comparing the three venues of Cebu Steemit Basketball

Cebu Steemit Basketball is being organized by @jassennessaj and the other Steemian organizers. It has been a weekly meetup for those who want to meet new people, making friends and at the same time play basketball. It has been our 9th week of basketball meetup and we keep gaining more Steemians to join and participate each weeks events.

We have transferred from one venue to another venue because of some reason. This has been one of the problem, but i know that our organizers will find a way to make a solution for this and that we will have our permanent venue for each week's basketball meetup.

I was not able to participate the first meetup but i was able to join the succeeding ones where i have gained more basketball experience and even improved the way i play basketball. I am looking forward to improve my shooting and dribbling skills for that.

As for our first venue, Cebu Bayswater is one good basketball court. The basketball court is covered to protect from both rain and hot of the sun. It has a very spacious area also where we can sit anywhere we like. The basketball area is clear where it does not need light since it has open portion of its side. But what i have observe that it has some damage in the ring side that needs to be repaired so it will be a better gaming experience for the players.

Our next venue, Villas Magallanes where we starts our very first Cebu Steemit Basketball League. Thanks to the effort of @dopinthezone, @loydjayme25, @jbeguna04, @chuuuckie, @melsmacan and @josephace135 for the support that they have given. Without the effort of these following people the league will not come into reality. So i give kudos to these following people, they should be recognized.

As for Villas Magallanes venue, it has a solid area where it is more like an exclusive basketball court because it has only one entrance and that it has many bench chairs all around. The court itself is wooden but i have notice that there are some parts that have damaged flooring bit these will not be a problem since we can still play and that we are away with some injury.

Since we play mostly at night time, i really appreciate their sodium lights a lot because it can really give light to the area and that the basketball court itself is totally light up.

Another venue is Sunberry Homes where the basketball is open. This venue is serve as temporary because the organizer was not able to make reservation on Villas Magallanes. One of the problem in this basketball court is that it is not covered court which is prone to rain and heat of the sun. Since our schedule is around 3 pm to 6 pm, we would expect that it is still a hot afternoon.

Aside from that the venue is quite far, not so many Steemians were able to participate where we cancel the league and serve as a practice session for the mean time. This is the very first time we are being sponsored by generous people and that we appreciate the kindness.
