Hi my dear Steemit friends,

I'm extremely excited to tell you that Steemit has started to become popular with students at the University of Hong Kong !!!! This week, HKU steemians organized OUR FIRST GATHERING at the University!! It's very nice to meet each other to celebrate the start of a new semester! This would not have happened without the hard work done by @ned and @dan, the fathers of this amazing platform. I'd also like to thank @htliao for bringing us to this wonderful site and organizing the first Steemit HK team gathering. Did you notice that we're wearing the Steemit T-shirts? I'd like to thank @nicolemoker the designer for creating them:)

We all know that university students are one of the most energetic groups of people. We're active, optimistic and dynamic. We're extremely sensitive to innovative inventions, and we can often set the trend with anything we're fond of. And NOW WE'VE DISCOVERED STEEMIT.

Therefore, if it's popular among university students, it'll become popular in the whole territory.

It's important to know that Steemit is the only social media platform I've ever known to turn strangers to friends by encouraging healthy offline interaction. After joining Steemit, we've become friends who chat literally EVERY DAY. We've found many similarities as well as differences among us. It makes the Steemit HK team more united and diverse.

Now let's see what we did that day!!!! We went to Robert Black College for lunch! It's located in a scenic spot of the University’s main campus in mid-level on the western side of Hong Kong Island. A million thanks to Steemit, because it's the FIRST TIME I've ever been there!!

• @jacklcp: He's a youtuber who's interested in travelling, music and video editing. His videos are superb!
• @biuiam: He's enthusiastic about science, and he's from the SteemSTEM management team. Thanks him for booking this restaurant!
• @mcw: He's a chem and bio enthusiast. He and @biuiam have made a lot of effort to promote scientific development on Steemit by organizing the Science Fair.
• @shirlam: She's a traveller, explorer and foodie. She's going to the UK for exchange. Let's wait to see her adventure!

And @susanlo which is me:) Also, I think everyone knows @htliao who's the founder of Steemit Steem HK:) We also have @connieleung, she an energetic girl who blogs about travel and food.

親愛的Steemit朋友們大家好，我準備告訴大家一個好消息——Steemit已經在香港大學傳播開來了！這個星期，我們舉行了港大的第一次Steemit聚會，慶祝新學期的開始！如果沒有Steemit之父 @ned與 @dan，這次聚會是不可能的。我也要感謝 @htliao把我們帶到這個平台，讓我們有了第一次香港Steemitian聚會。當然少不了 @nicolemoker設計出來的完美T恤啦:)

眾所週知，大學生是社會上最有活力的一群人。我們積極、樂觀又活躍。我們對創新發明有著驚人的敏感度。大學生通常是潮流的引領者。現在，我們發現了Steemit。

所以，如果Steemit在大學生中盛行，它也就會在整個社區中盛行。

Steemit是我知道唯一一個通過鼓勵健康互動而將陌生人變為朋友的社交媒體。加入Steemit後，我們每天都有說不盡的話題。我們之間既有相似之處，也有不同之點，這讓我們的社區變得團結的同時又更多元化。

一起看看我們當天做了什麼！！我們去了柏立基學院吃午餐。它位於港大的主校園，座落於西港島的半山區域。感謝Steemit，因為這是我第一次來這裏！環境怡人，對嗎？
