Introduce Yourself In The Comments.. Meet Others and Compare Interests. #2
One of the most common complaints I hear from people with young accounts is it is difficult to find a following. I agree it is difficult to find others who might be interested in your posts. Don't feel too bad even those of us who have built an audience are feeling like readers are a bit scarce right now.
Let's try this... (I have no idea if it will be effective)
Make a comment giving a short description of who you are and what you write about. I'm not looking for your real life name, but rather who you are on Steem and what you are about and interested in.
One of the reasons I quit myspace and moved to Facebook was how easy Facebook made it in the early years to find your friends and those who held the same interests. It was a lot more fun to engage with people who I either knew or had shared interests with.
I encourage you (on this post only to) drop a link and a description of yourself in the comments. If you drop one, also find someone else to follow. It is a slightly organized follow4follow post.
I will highlight the 10 introductions that I find the most interesting and there might be bonuses as well.It's just an experiment, take a minute post about your interests and if you think it might be helpful give it a resteem.
Who knows you might find a new supporter as well.

I did this 2 months ago and the post had the 2nd highest level of engagement I've ever had at 253 comments, which tells me people are really wanting to meet others.
If you are new and wanting to ask any questions or say hi, I hit lots of Discords, but mostly hang out in SteemSpeak, come by and say hi!

I'm @kadoka, for now I'm focusing on creating and sharing my photography and videos, so at this point most of what I write pertains to the visual media I've created. I do like to write, but I haven't quite found my voice here yet and much of what I write elsewhere seems a bit too personal for steemit.

I've spent a lot of time over the last few years having crazy wilderness adventures, a side effect of that is bringing back things to share. Images, videos, and stories! One of the things I really love is finding an amazing place in nature that very few people have discovered, capturing that, and sharing the view. I work mostly with bracketed images for my landscape photography and film a lot with drones for the the videos.
I'm also starting to make GIFs today, which seems a good idea since they play automatically and don't require a clickthrough to dtube to view!

Well, I'm niall from ireland. Been on here for a while now but only really getting properly active now. I've posted content across a lot of topics over the time as I enjoy a bit of everything.
Since I don't have the tech knowledge a lot of people do on here I like to find new and interesting posts as I am always trying to learn more and do more. My main passion was always for writing so I don't mind what the topic is I just like to go with it. My other passion is hurling which is an Irish sport you will never have heard off so I don't expect to see too many posts about it on here. Give a shout if you have anything to chat about.

Hi everyone, @ammonite here. I've been on Steem for over a year now and am really enjoying the sense of community and tools being created to make this a great platform for content creators, all we need now is an engaged audience.
I have chosen to use the blockchain as a way to document my 20+ years as an ephemeral artist, among other thing. This will hopefully give my sculptures a place to live on long after they are gone.
I write posts talking about the sculptures and the stories that surround them. Hopefully some of you will join me and we can put the social back in this social media platform.
