Pictures and photos offer us a great opportunity to preserve our special memories to capture life moments., it doesn't not only empowers us to explore new places and perspectives but also provides us with a sense of purpose and belonging, the purpose of photography is to communicate and document moments in time and places we have been to.

In as much that we are all human beings, we
still live in different geographical areas and environment endowed with different natural resources, different building and artwork, different people and lifestyle, different languages and culture and as well as different weather and climate conditions and so on, so in this contest I will be sharing with you all some photos of my village.
So before proceeding to share the photos of village I will like us to look into the meaning of village,
A village is a small community or group of houses in a rural area, larger than a hamlet and usually smaller than a town, Village life is generally considered to be more peaceful and relaxed than city life than that of the city because the people in villages have a slower pace of life and tend to be more closely connected to nature than those in the town or cities.

The pictures you see above is the pictures of a great and ancient spring called (nnukwu- mmiri) in Igbo language which means great water this is where the community people gets water, this particular spring am talking about has been in existence for many years now and it has never runs dry no matter the hardship and scarcity of water this spring has always been there for the community people, the amazing thing about this water is that is very pure and neat to drink but the road to this spring is very rough and slippery there are still many untold stories about this spring.

Last but not the least is the village market which is located at almost the entrance of the village which usually comes up every Wednesday and Saturday this where most of the farmers sell their farm produce to the buyers in exchange of money and other valuables, despite the small size of this market alot is been sold here.

I have come to the end of this contest which I will like to invite my fellow steemians @onomzy001 @echuku @dipi2024 to take part in this contest thanks.
