2021 Laid the Foundation for a Massively Engaging Metaverse Experience

You may have missed out on 2021's auctions for virtual land inside the RFOX VALT retail and entertainment metaverse experience. But the good news is that you have a couple more chances.

Land ownership aside, 2021 was a spectacular year for the RFOX ecosystem. Growth occurred on all fronts, and if it weren’t for Apple’s painfully slow app review process, we might have already seen the global launch of KOGS: SLAM!, the gaming division’s free play-to-earn NFT mobile game.

The game is now available in select countries and restricted to Android devices. But what Apple lacks, the RFOX Games team will compensate with an all-new blockchain game this year.

I wonder what’s in store for us. Is it a “bulldozer” game where you drop tokens into a chamber containing dozer arms slowly pushing the pile outward? Maybe they’ll let us set up a checkerboard and play for keeps?

Chess is another possibility. Most pieces in the KOGs collections are character-driven and could be assigned chess-like moves quite easily. Whatever it is, the RFOX multiverse roadmap tells us that a new game is coming to us in Q1. That’s like within the next 3 months!

Looking ahead shows us plenty of fun activities to look forward to. We’ll be shopping and staking and farming and NFT collecting all over the place! The RFOX VALT is meant to be a metaverse experience for everyone, and if you’re tech-savvy enough to operate a smartphone, then you’re invited.

We can ponder and speculate about the future all we want. But today, let’s take a look at where RFOX has been and what its team accomplished in 2021.

The year of the metaverse ecosystem

First of all, at this time last year, there were only 12 people in the team, as you’ll notice in the new RFOX weekly report. Today, though? We’re talkin’ 75 and counting!

Add some contractors to the mix, and that number goes way over 100. Add all the partnerships, and, by extension, several hundred people are involved in shaping the VALT!

Now, if there’s one thing that a blockchain or any other type of network must-have, it’s a user base. What good is a network if nobody uses it? On the gaming side, we have some data to work with.

People tend to think that you need hundreds of thousands or even millions of customers to be successful. But the KOGs ecosystem busted that rumor last year.

As last count, there are roughly 11,000 people that collect KOGs for fun and profit, and there’s also overlap with those who play the SLAM! game. If you multiply those collectors and players by an average of $173 spent during 2021, you get a huge figure.

Okay, okay, I’ll do the math for you! That comes out to $1,900,000 in revenue for RFOX Games!

Let’s jump ahead and imagine only 100,000 KOGs ecosystem participants, which is highly likely once all the Southeast Asian countries are eligible to download the app. And with the help of Yield Guild Games and other VALT partners, 1M gamers is not out of the question!

You know what? I haven’t even touched upon the DeFi portal, RFOX Finance, now giving participants the chance to stake and farm to earn tokens. Not to mention RFOX Media. Let’s not forget that organization has a user base of 13M to market to.

2022 will be huge for RFOX, and I’m thankful you’re here with me to enjoy the fun ride!
