Last week we went over the thrill leading up to the KOGs Special Edition: IAPF NFT sale coming from the RFOX VALT metaverse ecosystem.

This week, the sale has concluded and the results are in. How did those NFTs do out in the wilds of a 24-hour sale? Very well, indeed! The sale was originally scheduled to last for only 12 hours. But a hiccup in the WAX blockchain’s pack distribution caused a delivery delay.

While some were cracking packs and showing pictures of their Golden Rhino Slammer on RFOX Discord, others were frantically clicking refresh in their AtomicHub account in anticipation of packs and boxes.

Nearly two hours went by before all IAPF KOGs hit everyone’s wallet. Some mint hunters were very disappointed. But to give everyone a fair chance, and to collect even more scratch for wild animals, team RFOX Games doubled the sale window.

That did however increase the number of NFTs minted, thereby diluting the supply. I find that to be positive. You may see some Discord trolls complain about it but they miss the point entirely.

Although the sale was meant as a fundraiser for the IAPF, collectors will get something more than a donation to a worthy cause. Not only does one lucky donor receive a Zimbabwe experience, but there are also some digital assets up for grabs!

2.5M $RFOX token staking rewards

Every other time the moon turns blue, the org gives away millions of tokens to KOGs collectors. Of course, prices fluctuate all day long in the crypto space. But as I write this, $RFOX token sits at $0.067 per unit.

And in March, at today’s price, RFOX is giving away $167k in token value. Let’s all hope the BTC games are over and everything is on an upswing next month. If that giveaway were to coincide with an ATH, we’re talking about a giveaway of nearly $1M.

Only qualifying KOGs sets allow collectors to participate in the staking event. For the IAPF edition, that means collecting either 49 designs to make a standard set or also adding the gold Rhino slammer for the 50-piece perfect set.

And 10% of that event’s payout is going to the IAPF KOGs collectors. So, if you participated in the 24-hour sale, and got enough KOGs to make a set, put it into a tube when the time comes! That’s free money that RFOX is throwing at us.

I’ll leave you with an interview starring IAPF founder Damien Mander. Even if you missed the sale and have no chance of taking a Zimbabwe adventure, it’s never too late to support a worthwhile charity!
