Draft report of STEEM/SBD exchange transfers

in #metrics2 years ago

Here's my first swipe at a PowerBI report with STEEM and SBD exchange traffic. This shows 30 days of data (at most... I guess the busy exchanges probably don't have 30 days available, but I haven't looked at them all. I still need to get more familiar with the data.). What exchange accounts am I missing?

The data is coming from steemdb.io, and I learned the technique for collecting and aggregating transfers from multiple wallets from this video:

I'm just playing around, and this is still very preliminary, so take the numbers with a grain of salt.

Thanks for this analysis.
There is quite a high trading volume on binance between 18 and 20 August (Page 1, top right). During this time, the price dropped from around $0.27 to $0.23.

I don't know of any others. I didn't know most of the ones mentioned already :-)

Right, I looked into that a little bit. Lots of transfers between exchanges and lots of STEEM left the exchanges (from hot.dunamu, whatever that is) at the same time (middle-right on page 1). I didn't think to compare it to price action, though, so your observation of the price change is a good addition.

With that additional information, I'm now guessing that maybe it was a trading bot that was working to arbitrage the rapid price changes between exchanges?

It's a great analysis. You enable us to gain different perspectives. Has the blocktrades service stopped or is it continuing with a different account?

Blocktrades stopped trading services for STEEM and SBD.

Cheers!! I did not know that this application existed, it is also my first time through this publication, as always showing something new. blessings 💞

I notice about a good steem jump once every two weeks. This is a good sign. So the coin is liquid, people are interested in it. Unfortunately, I didn't know about your application. Thanks for the hint!

This trading ratio is very hard to understand for me. I try to get it but have a little knowledge about it. My want of knowledge!!!!!!

A good analysis just by two images represent the trading relations among steem and sbd. Your page is just like a mini media about steem and related news. Thanks for all of these information.
