Michelle Obama has maintained her role model status, speaking at The Women's Foundation of Colorado TogetHER conference in Denver this week.

The former First Lady has inspired thousands of women all over the world with her passion for women and civil rights, education and her effortless style .

She opted for a millennial pink floral midi dress from Tanya Taylor (a Toronto-born, New York based designer) with a pair of white pointed Jimmy Choo courts.

The $575 Caro frock features a custom designed Pre-Fall print and a flattering v-neckline, tie at the waist, and flare silhouette - a style which Michelle turns to again and again.

While she nailed summer style, don't be fooled by the soft pink hue; Michelle meant business as she spoke about being a historic First Lady, racism and encouraged women to shatter the glass ceiling.
Mrs Obama has become renowned for her accessible and relatable fashions, championing homegrown talent during the eight years her husband Barack was in office.
