RFID chip. The First Step In Merging With Machines

in #microchip7 years ago (edited)

With the rise of the credit card and a more cashless society rfid technology is gaining momentum. What first seemed like scifi may now be science fact. On july 24th 2017 multiple meidia outlets released storys about a wisconsin business who plan to chip their employees.

CEO Todd Westby told press the new tech could be used to buy snacks and scan into work and "Eventually, this technology will become standardized allowing you to use this as your passport, public transit, all purchasing opportunities, etc."

Although it may seem beneficial to open and close doors by the wave of your hand, I think that something with rfid tech shouldnt go under you skin with sensitive information until they find a way to give it some sort of failproof guard.

Theres also the ability for a governing power to abuse technology that can potentionally track your every move. One can only hope that such technology will be used for the benefit of mankind.at the end of the day we are all in this together.
